VE Day 80th Anniversary Celebrations

Children across the school enjoyed VE Day 80th anniversary celebrations today. In the morning, the whole school made newspaper hats, paper chains and bunting to decorate the village hall for a wonderful street party-style lunch. In the afternoon, KS2 had lots of fun playing WW2 games like marbles and four square and learning a WW2 dance. A big thank you to our wonderful Friends group who provided red, white and blue ice creams for after-school tuck shop. What a wonderful way to celebrate the 80th anniversary.
