Norfolk and Suffolk Aviation Museum Trip

Chestnut Class had an absolutely fantastic trip to the aviation museum where they learnt all about WW2. Some wonderful volunteers and staff shared real stories from WW2 as well as their in-depth knowledge about topics ranging from planes, to shelters, to weapons and survival. The children all had many WOW moments and enjoyed activities such a flight simulation, saving a baby during a gas explosion, sounding the gas alarm and surviving an air raid inside of an Anderson shelter. We all learnt many new bits of information that we can shall apply to our WW2 topic within the classroom.
