    Residential Day 4

    In the morning we investigated the wildlife in the pond with pond dipping and then we climbed a tree during monkey climbing. In the afternoon we had great fun canoeing down the river and finished with pioneering.

    Residential Day 3

    In the morning  we took part in a night trail where we had to lead a friend who was blindfolded around an obstacle course; followed by lighting fires and cooking bread over them.     First Day of Chestnut residential

    The children arrived and jumped straight into the action. We had 13 children showered and ready for bed in under an hour.

    Olympic Torch

    The pupils enjoyed receiving the Olympic Torch at Wetheringsett. It was travelling around all the MAT schools. They then had a visit from an Olympian, Mr Spivey talked about his experience at the Olympics as an International Showjumper.

    Porta Cabins delivery.

    The Porta Cabins, which will be Sycamore's and Chestnut's home for the next few weeks  were delivered on Saturday morning. We are planning for the pupils to be in on Tuesday. Today the steps, skirting, power, internet and furniture is being put in place.
