KS1 enjoyed their Doorstep Workshop and performance this half-term. During the workshop, the children worked as a class to come up with a story using props. Next, in groups, the children enjoyed acting out their given part of the story ready for a whole class performance. In the afternoon, the children watched a professional performance called 'Tales from the Lighthouse' which was a musical voyage full of stories, songs and the sea. Upon a distant shore, a lonely lighthouse keeper had grown fearful of the sea and its wild and stormy nature. But when a mysterious stranger appeared, the keeper was forced to confront his fears and slowly rediscover the beauty of the ocean that surrounds him.
