WELCOME FROM IMOGEN WALLIS, EXECUTIVE HEADTEACHER
On behalf of the staff and governors, it gives me great pleasure to welcome you to Wetheringsett Church of England Primary School’s website.
We are proud of the family feel of our small, village primary school. We are a caring school where children look after each other and staff know each child very well. We are a small school with the understanding that even though we are small we can do great things. Our Christian vision derives from the parable of the mustard seed, which although it is one of the smallest seeds grows so large it puts out great branches that birds can lodge in. In the same way we hope that our small school will encourage the growth of all our pupils and give them the confidence to do great things in the world.
We are ‘Growing skills and knowledge for life’ and work hard to ensure our children achieve consistently high standards, but as a church school, we also value the wider skills and values pupils will need to be happy, successful and flourish in life.
We value and cherish each child, supporting all to be successful. Our Christian values underpin everything we do .
Our Christian values form the basis of our ethos and relationships with each other. We aim to work closely with each child and their family so that all the children will feel as safe and happy at school as they do at home. The views of parents are important to us and we welcome feedback. Parents of children at the school can complete the Ofsted Parent View survey by clicking the image below.
Parent and carer's views
"Thank you to all who have come in early and contributed to delicious breakfasts and goody bags to make the SATs a more enjoyable experience for our children. It's greatly appreciated and you have all really gone over and above and I'd like to acknowledge you for all your efforts. Thank you".
"After attending the Mother’s Day Lunch today, I felt I should send an email to all the staff involved, to thank them very much for such a lovely experience. My child was very excited at the idea of me having lunch with him at school and I must admit that I felt the same. It was great to have a bit of a view into his school day and to watch him enjoying playing with his friends. Thank you all for making such a special effort and the hard work which must have gone into creating a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon".
"Thank you so much for all your help. My children have settled so quickly here and they absolutely love it. They thinks forest schools is great".
"Many, many thanks in supporting my child's Idea as I appreciate there wasn't much notice for the parents to organise this. I'm so proud of her for suggesting it".
"It's lovely to be able to see what he's been doing through google classroom and to get more involved with his education. Thank you to you and the rest of the staff for the support and pulling everything together to help with home schooling".
