It is the smallest of all seeds but when it grows up it is the biggest of all plants. It becomes a tree, so that birds come and make their nests.' Matthew 13:32

Reading cafe

Mrs Plowman ran a packed reading cafe for parents and guardians, to come together with their children to spend an hour  sharing and enjoying books.

Children completed a book taster menu, contributed ideas to our own 'Rights of the Reader' poster and cosied up with a book, hot chocolate and a gingerbread biscuit to finish the session. Thank you to all the adults who attended.

Some of the comments we received were:

"Really enjoyed it, so important that reading is done at home and so glad the school does event like this"

"Excellent! My favourite cafe so far."

" A really wonderful experience to be able to share some lovely books with [my child}. Thank you for such a calm end to the school day"

"Oh boy what a lovely hour. Such a treat to be involved"
