  • Art Cafe

    An art cafe was held in the village hall today, with parents and guardians invited to take part with their child/ren. An amazing variety of art was produced based on our surroundings. With flowers, trees and buildings being drawn, sketched and painted.

    It was lovely to see so many adults having a go at producing a piece of artwork. 

  • Doorstep Festival Theatre workshop and performance

    Lime class really enjoyed taking part in a theatre workshop today, based on the production of 'The Tap Dancing Mermaid' they watched at the beginning of the day.

  • Stained Glass Window Designs

    The pupils have been making up a full scale version of the winning stained glass window designs, for their class rooms. They have used sugar paper for the mock ups.

  • My Smile Oral Health Award

    Lime class this year have been working towards the My Smile Oral Health accreditation and we received our certificate. Well done to Lime Class who have brushed and looked after their teeth so well.

  • Character Creations Awards

    The pupils took part in a competition to design their own characters. Four pupils received a special award and signed copies of books for the library.

  • Children's Graduation

    The pupils who had taken part in the Children's University this year had their graduation on Wednesday. Throughout the year the pupils took part in a varitey of extra-curricula activities. They logged the activity and the time they had spent doing it in their own passports. They received a certificate of either bronze, silver or gold depending on the hours they had spent.

  • Doorstep Festival Performance

    The Doorstep performed their production of The Not So Grimm Twins for KS2.

  • Doorstep Festival Workshop

    We were visited on the 21st of June by the Doorstep Festival Group. The put on a workshop for KS2 based on turning Grimm Fairy Tales on their heads. The puils took part in a variety of exercises.

      Next week they will be putting on a workshop for KS1.

  • Collective worship outside

    We were able to enjoy Collective Worship in the garden this morning. Our value this half- term is Respect.
