  • Crumblebots

    Wed 19 Jul 2023 Mrs Mathlin

    KS2 spent the day learning how to programme crumblebots. In groups they applied what they had learned to programme a routine for their crumblebot to the song “I like to Move It” from the film Madagascar. KS1 joined KS2 for the afternoon as judges of each groups performance.
    Congratulations to Oliver, Penelope and William for their winning routine which included the “sparkle” lights changing colour in time to the music.

    In Geography, Sycamore Class have been learning about the journey of a river from the  source to the mouth.

  • Pirates v Mermaids Production

    The pupils put on a wonderful end of term production. On Tuesday afternoon we were transported to the High Seas for a musical adventure. The scenery was produced in afterschool club and the parents and guardians provided some brilliant costumes. A truly enjoyable afternoon and some very proud parents and guardians (and staff!)

  • School Trip to Southwold

    The whole school enjoyed a school trip to Southwold. KS1 had been looking at seaside holidays in history.

    KS2 looked at the history of the lighthouse, looked at the pier and did a beach litter survey in geography and did beach art in the afternoon. 

    The Friends treated the pupils to ice creams from Southwold Pier . 

  • Jubilee Rose

    The rose that the Friends kindly donated to the school, for Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee Celebrations, is in full bloom in the school garden.
