  • Christmas Tree Festival

  • Chestnut DT Day

    Chestnut Class were designing and building alpine houses that could stand strong in the wind and snow of the alpine climate. 

  • Sycamore Class DT

    For DT day, Sycamore Class designed, made and evaluated a seasonal stocking. The stockings had to be functional and visually appealing. The children learnt how to sew a running stitch, backstitch, over stitch and zigzag stitch. Each child chose how they would like to decorate their stocking and which stitch to use to join their two pieces of fabric together. They worked really hard and showed great enthusiasm and resilience. Well done, Sycamore Class!
     

  • Lime Class DT Day

    Lime Class made Christmas stockings, fruit kebabs and painted pictures of fruit for DT Day.

  • Police Visit

    The police came to visit Lime Class today. The pupils had a chance to explore the police van, try on helmets and high vis clothing and look at the handcuffs and the back of the van. A huge thankyou to PSO Harvey for coming along to talk to the excited pupils.

  • Bikeability

    Chestnut class are taking part in Bikeability this week. This morning they have been practising in the playground. This afternoon, they will be taken on the road, to practise safe cycling.

  • Remembrance Service

    The pupils and staff went to the church this morning for the Remembrance service. The pupils had written their own prayers and produced artwork of poppies. 

    The collective worship ambassadors wrote their own talk thinking about those people and animals lost in war. They also read a list of the fallen from Wetheringsett in their address.

    It was lovely to have so many parents and guardians joining us. Especially those who had served.

  • School Closed 2nd November
